Guy help!! Do you think he likes me or not?

Alright, so there's this guy I've known since second grade and now we're in 8th grade. Last year is when we really hit it off and started talking a lot. About a month ago, he got my email address from a friend and added me on yahoo messenger and we talk on there. He says hi occasionally but usually we have NOTHING to talk about on there and it's really awkward, for me at least. When we're in the halls at school, he almost always says hi to me. At school, we talk a lot but not as much as last year, because now we're in different homerooms. He talks to one of my best friends a lot and he even told her who he liked, so out of curiosity, I asked him who he liked and he said he couldn't tell me. A couple of times, we'd talk on yahoo messenger and he'd say something like "so I heard you liked someone" and I'd say "really? well who then?" and he'd start teasing me and saying he wasn't gonna tell me and I think he was flirting when he said that. I just wanna know if you think he likes me or not because I kinda like him a bit.
