Best time to purchase flights to SE Asia?

I'm looking to spend 4 months in Southeast Asia starting in Nov 08 to March 09. I'm looking for a flight from Ottawa, Canada to Hong Kong to Bangkok, to Ottawa. When would be the best time to book the flights for best prices? Should I buy now or wait a few more months?
