Which distilled water can be used for tattooing?

I tattoo on practice skins.(NOT ON PEOPLE) as a hobby and im experimenting with different shades and shading. Ive seen my tattooist add distilled water and have never asked him which sort it is ie; car radiator. Can someone tell me if they know and what ratio to use.
